Roll Forming Technology

In addition to sheet metal forming, we can incorporate processes such as bending, punching, labeling, and others to ensure the result is an efficient, high-quality production line.

Punching Unit

The PFC roll forming machines can be equipped with a diverse range of punching units. These units can be installed either before or after the roll forming process, depending on the production process. It is possible to integrate high-speed hydraulic cycles or flexible punching operations (up to 10 different tools) on both the X and Y axes. For stress-free programming, CAD files can be imported directly into the automatic sequences.

Flying Shear and Punching

It is possible to equip PFC Roll Formers with servo-motion that applies a synchronized cut or punching with roll former. On the Cut operation, It will follow the movement of the sheet, make a quick cut and return to home position. It increases the speed of production up to 60m/min.

Stacking Systems

Stefa offers automated profile stacking solutions. Profiles can be stacked on top of one another, adjusted to fit the specific size and type of profile, and transferred for buffer area, so they are ready for expedition. This system ensures increased production and improved operator safety.

Flexible Production (automatic changes and cassettes)

Stefa PFC Roll Forming machines can produce multiple profiles with different dimensions or even parts with entirely different profiles. For profiles with different dimensions, the machine’s structure automatically adjusts to the desired specifications, allowing for variations in height and width. There is also the option of a quick-change system for the station assemblies, commonly known as cassette system. This solution allows different profiles to be produced on the same machine structure saving costs and a offer bigger range of profiles.
