How we manufacture

Stefa equipment manufacturing is a structured and transparent process built around engineering logic and strict quality control.

After contract signing, project implementation is divided into four key stages: research and development, production and assembly, delivery, and after-sales support. Each stage has clearly defined objectives, areas of responsibility, and control checkpoints.

Four key stages

Research and Development Department

Every project begins with the work of the Research and Development department.

Sucorema’s engineering team develops a technical solution based on the client’s production requirements. At this stage:

  • Technical solutions are defined.
  • Materials, components, and software are selected.
  • The production logic of the line is engineered.
  • Full technical documentation is prepared.

Production & Assembly

Manufacturing is carried out at our 6,500 m² production facility.

A complete production cycle is performed, including cutting, welding, machining, painting, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.
Software installation is completed.
Equipment performance testing is conducted.

Delivery

After completion of testing, the equipment is prepared for shipment and delivery.

The location of the Sucorema factory in the Porto region (Portugal) represents a strategic logistics advantage for partners on other continents. Its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and the major seaport of Leixões (Porto de Leixões) enables international container shipping directly from the production region. This ensures optimized transportation costs and efficient worldwide delivery.

For continental partners, delivery is carried out via oversized ground transport.

After-Sales Support

The project does not end with delivery. Sucorema provides support throughout the entire equipment lifecycle.

  • Pre-installation Preparation. We provide technical specifications and support the installation process to ensure correct integration of the production line at the client’s facility.
  • Training. We provide complete operational knowledge of Stefa equipment to ensure efficient and safe use.
  • Warranty Service. In the event of unforeseen situations, repair or replacement of components is provided within the warranty terms.
  • Remote Support. Stefa equipment can be connected to the network, allowing remote diagnostics and immediate technical support from anywhere in the world.
  • Upgrades. Equipment can be upgraded with new modules and software updates in accordance with evolving production requirements
