The Stefa LCS is the answer for high performance coil processing needs.
With ranges up to 3mm it has a sturdy construction that allows processing of different types of materials. It is equipped with a high level of straightening to assure quality on the sheet metal processes, automatic systems to speed up the setup’s and can be highly customized to target the right need of your coil processing
The automatic Straightening The strong point of the LCS is the set of 9 rolls on the straightening (7 on the model LCS2) which allows for optimal straightening processing on different materials, such as iron, steel, aluminum, or stainless steel. Optionally, the LCS can be equipped with an automatic straightening system where adjustment can be automatic depending on the settings previously saved through fine positioning of gear motors.
LCS cutting lines are equipped with stronger motors and components, which allows for an increase in the number of cuts in thicker materials. To assure a precise cut in a diverse range of thickness and material the circular knives have a rubber to hold the material when it is cutting. In the case of the LCS3 model, the blades can be set up or changed through an easy side access door.
The Shear of LCS is mechanical to ensure a smooth, fast cut and no need of adjustment for different thicknesses, up to 3mm thickness capacity. And depending on the machine configuration can be equipped with extraction sheet rolls. It is protected by safety guards, mechanical and electronic to avoid any unwanted presence in the cutting zone.
In case of need to trim the edgesof the sheet, you can equip the LCS with Strip Winders. These ensure compact winding with automatic torque control and easy removal of the trimmed roll.
It is possible to add additional processes besides cutting, such as punching or marking the sheet metal. These systems add value to the production chain, in addition to increasing efficiency and speed.
The LCS will be a perfect solution with the right equipment. Stefa is able to advise, through its highly specialized engineering office, on the correct equipment to accompany the LCS, such as Decoilers, tables to support the introduction of material, different types of Plasticizers and Film applicators, output tables to guarantee zero marks on the material, and other types of systems manufactured by us.
