The Stefa LCAS is the ideal solution for processing sheet metal coils. Developed from years of experience at Stefa, combined with the direct input of professionals in the metal profile and sheet metal industry. Entry Guide with adjustable backsides individually by handwheel and position indicators in mm. The encoder is on the back, constantly making pressure against the material to assure precision on the length. Is possible to move the encoder to sides or the middle to increase flexibility on production.
Additionally it is possible to equip a film applicator to protect the material before cutting. The plasticizer has a manually adjustable brake and pressure sensitive for correct application of the film
The Stefa LCAS is equipped with a set of 5 rolls, where three of them are for the purpose of straightening. It is possible to have a correction of the deflection of the coil by adjusting the handhandwheel to give more penetration on the correction shaft. The traction roll is also adjusted manually and sensitive to different types of materials. Both of them are equipped with indicators in mm. The rolls are chromed to assure an operation free of marks and long working life. The cover os on top are removable for cleaning purposes.
The LCAS comes, by standard, with three pairs of circular knives with a quick-release clamping system. Additional circular knives can be added depending on the material thickness. The penetration on the sheet is made with the help of handwheel and indicators in mm. To assure a precise cut in a diverse range of thickness and material the circular knives have a rubber to hold the material when it is cutting.
Easily position the blades for longitudinal cutting measurements with the digital ruler. Mechanical zeroing is possible, and it is equipped with a stop to ensure precision in blade positioning
The Shear of LCAS is mechanical to ensure a smooth, fast cut and no need of adjustment for different thicknesses. It is protected by safety guards, mechanical and electronic to avoid any unwanted presence in the cutting zone.
The control of LCAS is the result of years of Stefa experience to bring an easy and intuitive software. The machine comes with a touch panel of 7” where it is possible to introduce the measures and quantities up to 10 steps and is equipped with automatic cut reference. Also it has a save option of material when working with slitter option.
